Our members come to our gym for a number of reasons. They want to lose fat. They hope to gain muscle mass. They want to ready themselves for the summer season. They want to train for a specific sport. But, ultimately, they want to live longer, happier and healthier lives. In our experience we have found that no two members are alike.
But don’t just take our word for it. Check out some of our member success stories below.

While visiting California for work, I had the opportunity to visit Beachside Crossfit for two weeks. As an avid crossfitter who was first introduced to crossfit over four years ago, I have had the opportunity to visit many different boxes, been exposed to multiple coaches, and seen lots of different programming. Nate is running by far one of the best programs I have seen.
1.Excellent coaching: In just two short weeks he pointed out three very subtle changes to my form on different exercises that improved my performance. Additionally, I was extremely impressed with the emphasis on good form for all his athletes. Everyone there – young, old, male, female, advanced, beginner – consistently demonstrated correct form. This can be attributed to Nate’s knowledge and insistence on mastering fundamentals.
2. Superb programming: I still haven’t figured out the secret formula to truly excellent programming – Nate has. Each day was a challenge, but always in a different way. Nate’s emphasis on skill training ensures that you have adequate time to improve in those areas. At the same time, he provides WODs which challenge across many disciplines. In only 6, one hour training sessions, Nate had us perform skill training in double unders (3x), hand stand push ups (2x), cleans (2x), jerk, push press, snatch, and squat. Additionally, Metcon WODs were simple yet extremely challenging and effectively reinforced skill training while enhancing metabolic conditioning and mental toughness.
3. Challenging and encouraging atmosphere: As with many crossfit boxes, Beachside Crossfit’s members are hard working, tough, and positive. Each visit to the gym was an encouraging experience.
Take the time to visit Beachside Crossfit, get to know Nate and the box members, check out the programming, sign up. Based on my experience, you will be superbly rewarded.

In August of last year, I told myself that I would only buy a Beachside Crossfit shirt if I could stick it out for one year(because let’s be real, that first WOD after the elements class had me rethinking some stuff). This week marks that one year of learning, (“what’s a Thruster?”) a bit of pain, (F@$! THIS THRUSTER CRAP, AND FRAN!) progression, ( “that 330 deadlift tho!”) and getting to be apart of an awesome community of people that I consider Ultra-Beasts ( especially the amazing 530 am squad!!!) thank you Coaches Nathan Doud, Mee, and Miguel for letting me express my inner beast, safely and encouraging me to push myself! BEACHSIDE MAFIA!!!! WOOT WOOT!

Here goes. When I delivered Wesley I was 200lbs. I worked out while pregnant but the last 3 months I ate everything. I got back in the gym 6 weeks postpartum. I set 2 goals for myself. 1 being lose all that extra freaking weight 2 Do it before my 30th birthday. I was scared by everything “they” say. It’s hard to lose weight after second baby, it’s harder as you get older, your body is never the same ect. Well I’m 2.2 lbs away from my goal weight and I feel amazing. I know every week I’m busting my ass in the gym and controlling my food. I still have changes I want to make but it’s all progress. Definitely want to give a shout out to my beachside family. All your guys constant support helps so much and I love you guys for it. My 30s are going to be fantastic for sure.

“I am so thankful to have found BeachSide Crossfit. The community is awesome, everyone is very welcoming and encouraging. When I first started at beachside I had only the slightest idea of what I was getting myself into. The workouts and strength training are consistently challenging, and never boring. I used to exercise 5 days per week running, lifting small dumbells, spinning, and I was never happy with the way I looked. My workout routines were stale, and weren’t giving me the results I was looking for. Beachside crossfit has changed that for me, and has also changed my outlook on exercise completely. The coaches, have taught me that being fit is a lifestyle, and its not impossible for anyone. For almost a year he has kept me motivated to get to the gym every week and push myself to new heights, and I’m in the best shape of my life. Whenever I go into the gym, I go in looking to become stronger and move quicker. I can’t tell you how refreshing it is to have a coach and a community that also wants those things for you, and for themselves. The programing is phenomenal and produces real results. If you’re looking for a challenge, a coach that’s 110% dedicated, and a great time with real people…..Beachside crossfit is the place to find it.

5 stars from every single person reviewing should be enough for your decision to be made but if not, here are 2 big things to consider–
Coaching- I was with Beachside for 3 years and was so bummed when my career moved me elsewhere. Why? Simply put, Nate and his small home grown hand selected group are the best. You can travel all across the country, as I have in the military, and go to any gym. One common theme? Sub par coaching and inconsistency. Nate’s core skill is weightlifting. He’s like a mad scientist. Everything is on point and if you’re consistent with working with him, you’ll get the rub of skills from him. My gains were beyond my goals. Not to mention he can walk the walk when it comes to both weightlifting and wods. And, he might be the only successful crossfit gym owner in the world that makes every session. Yes, every session. The only ones he missed was when he was vacationing with Beachside members, as I have done with him. This brings me to my next point
Community- not only is Nate either at the gym or hanging with members, the beachside community reaches far and wide. My tax person? Beachside member. Legal expert? Beachside member. Realtor? Beachside member. Electrician, mechanic when needed? Beachside. But most importantly, best people I ever met are there. Several Friends I will have for life.

335# squat PR for #beachsidecroasfit today.. 4 months ago when I started crossfit, I began very hesitant and very skeptical. First off, bench press is never programmed in the workouts, my favorite. And I had the fear that all my strength gains made would disappear since we hardly ever do max days… Not only did I hit a new PR, but I’m in way better shape than I’ve ever been! Here’s to sticking with it
