Salt is essential for life, not only for little fishies in a big ocean but for you and I, due to a massive campaign against salt, it seems all of us are trying to avoid sodium
Lets take it back for a second, we started near the oceans edge. As we migrated further and further inland the need for salts became more and more precious, in fact the word “salary” is derived from the time when roman soldiers were paid in salt, or “salary’.
Sodium regulates the total amount of water in the body, as well as helps us use the H2o we do intake. As we know the body works on electircal signals for comminucations (Brain, CNS, Muscles), the generation of these signals are dependnet on sodium. As time went on and foods became what they are today…sodium bombs, our intake of sodium outdid the amount our bodies actually need.
As you are now on the train of eating REAL food, most ALL the time, your Sodium levels are not as high as the average American. Are you a hard training athlete?? Then your sodium levels are probably lower then they need to be. Don’t be afraid of sodium if you fall under this category, you probably are low on it anyways.
This only applies to those of us who eating REAL food, not processed garbage.
Lindsey Proves she aint scared.

Say hi to the new crew as you see them!!
