I eat about alot of Broccoli. It has pretty much replaced any “side” i would have had in the past. Many times I will have half a plate of meat and half a plate of broccoli smothered with lots of olive oil. When I say alot, I mean ALOT. Every wednesday I fill 2 standard plastic grocery bags full and in 6 days it is all gone, I am not sure of the number of heads but I would guess 2-3 pounds. The things I really like a about broccoli is its vast health benefits, (my grandmother put me on to broccoli a many moon ago) the taste is great and its simple to prepare; a few minutes in the steamer is usually all it takes. ( dont boil it zaps some of its cancer fighting qualities). Basically you can not go wrong with broccoli:
* its an anti inflammatory
* known for its cancer fighting nutrients
* Supports cardiovascular system
* Supports a healthy digestive system

don’t treat Broccoli like a garnish, treat it like a main dish, you can never eat too much of it. Eat it often and reap the benefits.
I plan on doing a video food journal soon……………
